Hey everyone,
This year, Relay for Life is being held from April 17 at 7:00pm to April 18 at 7:00am. For people who have never participated, it is a fun all-nighter designed for folks to raise a ton of money to support cancer research. You can walk, play games, get some snacks (though most everywhere will be looking for a donation to the Relay pot, of course), and enjoy exciting entertainment that always includes a Ms. Relay drag performance.
This year’s theme is “Touchdown for a Cure” since we’re going to have a football team this fall.
If you would like to join our team (we will be setting up a space in Webb Center during the event), please visit our Relay for Life page. Joining a team involves a $10 donation, but you do not have to pay it during the signup process. At the event you’ll get a Relay for Life T-shirt in your size for your donation.
If you want to help out with the Relay for Life event or you have ideas for fundraising (both before and during Relay) feel free to bring it up on the forum or directly to an officer.
If you cannot attend but still want to help the cause, feel free to donate any amount to Relay ODU.
